Garry Clarkson's photos from 1987 of the Leeds Road area of Bradford, where he began his photographic career now archived in Artist Jeremy Deller's curated show at Impressions Gallery. Part of the first 'Ways of Looking' photography festival.

The May festival, whose 8th edition is devoted to British photography, will be focusing on British artists of undeniable international repute. Garry Clarkson will be exhibited as part of the Newport Group. The area around Plac Nowy will turn into a huge open-air projection space. On the walls of the buildings and the local bars, you’ll be able to simultaneously see projections of photographs from Polish and British press agencies, Polish and British schools and photography magazines, and projects sent in to the ShowOFF section.

70 finalists selected from 900 photographers from 42 countries to take part in the ‘Descubrimientos (‘Discoveries’) platform for the promotion and dissemination of works by ‘emerging international photographers’. This forum, at the Community of Madrid’s Council of Culture, was part of Photo España photography festival.
